I watched the victory speech made by Barack Obama in awe. This Black man is comfortable in his own skin and won the primary by a significant margin in a state with an African American population of 2.5 percent. I believe African Americans need to investigate what the man stands for particularly as it relates to the economy. This mortgage and credit crisis has impacted African Americans more severely because of the large numbers who were lured into buying homes with zero down and adjustable rate mortgages.
