Most of us saw the crazy face sucking episode between Halle Berry and Jamie Foxx the other night on the 'Guy's Choice Awards.' While you might have been turned on by the episode or turned off by the vulgarity of it, the truth is that most of us don't see the financial value behind the infamous grab and suck.
Why would Halle Berry and Jamie Foxx lock lips, private parts and everything else in front of the world (not to mention their significant others)? Let's be real: Halle and Jamie are both in their 40s, and both of them have financially busted movies to their credit. Also, there is a serious problem with Hollywood's continuous decision to ignore the very best black female actresses in the world (I would put Regina King or Angela Bassett up against any actress in Hollywood, but they rarely get the roles they deserve). Hollywood has pushed what "Halle-would" do to the test, as this woman has always had to stretch the limits of decency to stay on top. (Remember Halle getting naked with Billy Bob Thornton a few years ago?) I hardly blame or judge Halle for her choices, since black actors and actresses are usually the last hired and the first fired.
The Internet has created a world in which a hot kiss, a butt grab or even a sex tape is necessary to keep you relevant. Even the group Pretty Ricky resorted to obnoxious grinding activity to get people to notice their next album. In this episode of Financial Lovemaking, we break down how it all works.

The sad thing is that most of us didn't see this because no one is checking for the "Guys Choice Awards". LOL! But, I am soooooo disappointed in Halle for taking such a low class measure to garner attention for herelf. I mean, whats the point? She already has a lot going for her-an undeserved Oscar, cosmetic contract, a perfume, her choice of any movie that Beyonce turns down, a hot white guy, a beautiful daughter, title as most beautiful woman, etc... What more does she want? SMDH! Like an STD can spread indiscriminantly, even beautiful rich women in beautiful clothes are not exempt from being common hoodrats.

Okay, one thing Beyonce will never do..is take roles away from actresses like Halle Berry. Beyonce will NEVER take roles away from Taraji P Henson, Angela Bassett or anyother good black actress. She will, however, take roles away from up and coming black actresses who dont have a name in the business. Which is unfortounate because the next "Halle Berry" or "Angela Bassett" could be out there and people have to suffer through Beyonces mediocrity acting. Just the fact that you would suggest something like that goes to show how silly and ignorant some black people are when it comes to that industry.
Also, you wouldn't have watched the "Guys choice awards" because it hasn't aired yet. And its more then apperent a lot of you on here have never seen this award show in years past because had you, you wouldn't be as shocked by this. This award show is this outrageous all the way through.

Why is a black man trying to create animosity among black women ? Black women face a double edged sword, racism and sexism from within and outside of their race. It's unfortunate that you need to diminish Halle Berry in any way or blame her for the lack of opportunities for black women in Hollywood. Before there was a "Monster's Ball" Halle produced and stared in "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge " for HBO because no white studio heads wanted to make it into a major film. (I guess you have selective memory when it comes to Ms. Berry for whatever reasons)) It is NOT Ms. Berry's fault that Angela Bassett, Regina King, other "more talented" in your opinion actresses in your opinion or darker-skinned woman of color did NOT win an Oscar. Wasn't it enough for you that Ms Bassett called Halle a prostitute for portraying a character in a movie. White men , white women and yes black men had always been treated better in Hollywood. For the record: Ask Denzel's or any other actress/actor with sex appeal how their real-life partner has dealt with the vulgarity of their kissing, body touching etc... of other actors. Yeah right.

What he is saying is true, they should both be ashamed. I wonder if they would approve of their children seeing such trash (Halle's child when he/she is older). Why not work towards creating more opportunities for black actors/actresses? What a disgrace!!! Both of them have the ability to create positive change in the industry but I guess they'd rather take the easy way and degrade themselves to remain relevant in Hollywood.

Here are two reputable actors, who by Hollywood standards, allowed themselves to be played like fiddles, all in the name of a so-called stunt.
I was embarrassed for both of them, but especially for their children, and realized that as discusting as their behavior was, they'll ultimately be applauded by the powers that be.
Of course, I guess it could have been worse - we could have been looking at someone like Denzel Washington and Angela Bassett. Naw, class is class and I don't believe it waivers with the amount of publicity or money that's promised as a result of it.

while i wasn't aware of the halle/jamie kiss, the next day the pictures were everywhere, and it seemed apparent that somebody was looking for attention, to do something that is so private and then do it publicly for the world to see, as if its just a kiss between friends....ha ha ha. who is the joke on? halle can be as dignified when she wants to be, but obviously can be as whorish as she wants to be too. that's what money does to you, creates the illusion that the world is a stage and all your private antics can take place on it, when you need more attention. as for jamie foxx everybody knows he's a ho already so it doesn't make him look bad, but sadly it made neither one of them look good.
