We recently heard about Congressman Peter King referring to Michael Jackson as a "pedophile and a low-life." It's a bit odd that this Republican congressman would opportunistically attack a man after his death, when he could have challenged Jackon's behavior in life. What's also ironic is that the Republican "family values" politicians are notorious for having their own dirt, as their self-righteous platforms tend to be overrun by sex scandals and behavior so egregious that most of us can't even relate to them. But since when has Republican hypocrisy surprised any of us?
Beyond this, there are other developments in the complicated estate situation of Michael Jackson:
The major development has been that Jackson's mother Katherine, has been removed from having control over the Jackson estate. That control has been given to attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain. This was against the mother's wishes, but the judge has determined that the will is indeed valid.

The family initially thought that Jackson had died without a will, but Branca surfaced with a five-page document stating that he and McClain would be named executors.

MJJ outclassed them all! He outsold Elvis, the Beatles, Garth Brooks! What a shrewd operator! He left his Estate to his Attorney, he didn't leave it to his Mother, although she will get 40% of it plus guardianship of the kids! What I don't understand is MJJ didn't use his sperm, it was his skin doctor and Debbie Rowe, who got paid 8 million dollars, she said her womb was a "gift." So, will she and the skin doctor get married and be the true parents of Michael's kids? LOL! I attended the Tribute at the"Apolloo," the videos were awesome--I see why he was so mad at MTV--he should have been featured! The Memorial Service was off the chain! MJJ didn't have to change his face, he was brilliant at any age! I am hoping he is happy now and we'll find out what really killed him!

Undoubtedly mr. king you are an idiot. You have no place in Government. He was found not guilty on all counts so you should respect the judicial system. In case you went to school, remember this, people in glass houses do not throw stones,I will give you a year to figure it out because obviously you are a little slow.

The man was a drug addict and his heart just gave out. A body can only take so much.I hope he didn't die from a hospital drip. That would be suicide to me.

I think Peter King was wrong for the comments he made referring to Michael Jackson. I do believe that he made the comments ONLY because Michael Jackson is black. I think Peter King is upset with the fact that this African American was/is the greatest performer that will ever appear on the face of this earth. Michael Jackson was NOT a pervert nor a child molester nor a pedophile. Last time I remembered Michael was aquitted of ALL charges. I think Peter King IS A RACIST because where was his negative comments when Elvis Presley died from an OVERDOSE ? Lets not forget that Elvis married a 14 year old when he was in his 20's... now that is what you call a pervert and a pedophile. Why wasnt anybody addressing those issues but EVERYBODY (white ppl) want to talk bad about Michael ONLY because he was the richest BLACK entertainer. Michael was WAY better then Elvis presley or any other white or black entertainer. Michael was the first black person who's video appeared on MTV. Let Michael Jackson rest in peace because he AT LEAST deserve that much !

I can't believe a person in a position like that of the congressman's would make such a statement about anyone that has been aquitted of a charge. But to make such a public statement about a person while his family and the world is morning him is unheard of. I think that he should be made to make a public apology and be charged with slander! Michael was never found guilty of any charges brought against him.

i think that we as afr. amer should take a look at what this is all about and not the sensationist that the media would like us to focus on and not the real issuse which is these two white men with alot of others trying to steal michael jackson estate away from his family. we need to follow the money and not on the other stories about michael jackson those things are over with, with his passing. we need to stand with the jackson family and support them as they try to find out about the people that was promoting and that surrounded themselves around michael and kept his family away from him. what concerns me is that these two executors only came back in michaels life a couple weeks before he died and he supposely wrote another letter wanting them to control his estate. if they already had the will why would they have needed him to sign something else. also when he signed the will my understanding a beneficiary or anyone that had a financial gain from the estate couldn't be a witness to the will one of the executors had a five percent interest in sony/atv at the signing of the 2002 will. and why didn't they get it notorized these were intelligent men so they could have done that to make it look more legit. the media wants us talk about joe jackson and his greed but not look at these white men greed and if the jackson family says something they are the ones looking money hungary but not the white man. also they want it to look like the one executor was responsible for michael jackson getting the beatles catalog and not michael jackson, just look at the interview paul mccarthy gave saying michael jackson say he was going to buy some of the beatles songs but paul thought he was just joking. how is that these men are getting the praise wasn't this michael jackson money and his idea and all these lawyers did was do his bidding. we also look at the timeline when michael was in new york on july 6 2002 with al sharpton and then in los angelos on july 7 2002 signing a will at five p.m on a sunday evening it just after he said that sony was perjudice i hope michaels family fight this all the way. we need to follow the money and make no mistake it is about the money and these white are out to take it away from the jackson family and have total control.

Why is MJ held in such high esteem in the black community? I'll agree that he was a gifted entertainer and I wish music today was of the caliber he was capable of; however, I believe that once it was clear in his head that money was no longer an obstacle, his true "colors" shone through.
He hated being black. He hated himself enough to disfigure his face in pursuit of "perfection". He "dyed" his skin white, he had white wives, white kids, it goes on and on. Now he is heralded as a black icon. I don't get it.

Why is everyone so worried about what black people is doing and who we like. white people never cared about our feelings before. Now everytime something happen white people try to either make it a white or black issue, sarcastic remarks, or use every trick in the book to make blacks feel guilty or wrong for liking michael jackson. There is no secret that black people loves mj like everybody else in the world. black people had nothing to say when white people made elvis their icon i liked elvis to i watched him as a child as well.
