CNN is reporting that for 2009 Wal-Mart will be slashing pricing on electronics in particular. Great deals reported to be in the Walmart Black Friday flyer include:
In the computer section, Wal-Mart's deals in the leaked circular include an eMachine laptop with a 15.6-inch LCD display, 2GB memory and 160GB hard drive for $198; a Hewlett-Packard laptop with a 15.6-inch display, 3GB memory and 250GB hard drive for $298; a Philips 4GB MP3/video player for $29; and an Xbox 360 console with three games for $199.
Other deals in electronics and appliances in Wal-Mart's Black Friday ad include an 8GB iPod Touch for $195 with a $50 iTunes gift card; $4 home appliances including a slow cooker and mini-mixer, $2 DVDs, and select toys priced between $5 and $9. (CNN.com)
It is thought that Wal-Mart will begin offering some of these deals from Saturday. This may be an ideal time for you to buy some early Christmas presents for your children. There will be deals on various toys such as the Disney Princess Scooter, EZ Bake Oven and Nerf N-Strike Vulcan. Some of the discounts are for up to 60%.
Also some of the deals starting Saturday are for gaming packages. For example when you purchase either Band Hero or DJ Hero you will receive a $40 Walmart gift card. A lot of these deals will end November 27th.
So get organized to start shopping this Saturday for great Walmart Black Friday 2009 deals! Keep in mind that this year Walmart is moving Black Friday to Thursday. Plus, "Walmart has changed the focus of its deals by implementing a 24 hour open policy and organized lines staffed by employees for the items most desired" (media-newswire.com). This new Walmart policy will help ensure that Black Friday 2009 shopping is safe and secure for all.
