Tiger Woods Wife Wants Half His $600 Million Dollar Fortune

Tiger Woods' wife is allegedly playing hard ball with him. A source told the New York Post that Tiger's wife, Elin Nordegren wants as much as she can get. "Now she wants 100 per cent divorce, 100 per cent custody of the children and half of everything. And she won't be changing her mind," a source told the New York Post.

The news is a surprise, given that the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place that restricted Nordegren's take to "only" 20 million dollars. There are also reports that Nordegren is frustrated by the fact that Woods won't go to rehab and seems to be reneging on promises to make himself better.

Nordegren has engaged the services of well-known attorney Sorrell Trope, who represented Britney Spears in her divorce with Kevin Federline.

Woods has vowed to leave professional golf for the next 12 months and is reportedly feeling "out of control" of his life and "helpless."

I am saddened to hear that Woods might be emotionally depleted from this incident. I've known him to be a strong and focused individual, and I am sure that he still is. But then again, marriage can break down anyone, so I am not here to judge. One thing I wonder is how others feel about the fact that Elin Nordegren may walk away with $300 million dollars without ever swinging a single golf club. Should Woods have even married Elin (or anyone for that matter) in the first place? What do you think?
