Beyonce performed in St. Barts at one of the most star-studded New Years Eve bashes this year for the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Russell Simmons, her husband Jay-Z, Usher and Jon Bon Jovi--and the family of terror-happy Libyan dictator Moammar Gaddafi footed the bill.
Mediaite.com first reported on Sunday that the Gaddafi family threw the party, and Tuesday Page Six confirmed that the host was Moammar's youngest son, the aptly-named Hannibal, who has been involved in a number of violent incidents in recent years.
Just Christmas Day Hannibal, 33, reportedly beat his wife, Libyan model Aline Skaf, 29, until her face was bleeding heavily and her nose was clearly broken. Three of his security guards were arrested and Hannibal got off on diplomatic immunity. In 2005 he was arrested, but not charged, for punching Skaf and wielding a handgun in a Paris hotel.
In 2008 Hannibal and his then-pregnant wife were detained in Switzerland for beating their servants in a luxury hotel. His dad retaliated for his son's mistreatment by arresting Swiss nationals and closing Swiss businesses, sparking a diplomatic crisis, and charges were dropped. In 2004 Hannibal made a name for himself when he led a high-speed police chase, driving drunk and on the wrong side of the road through central Paris. Again he was protected by diplomatic immunity. He has also been involved in several police scuffles.
I am sure that Beyoncé was paid good money for this New Year's Eve performance, and it must have been wonderful to be surrounded by fellow celebrity friends and her husband. But it seems a little mindless to keep your mind only on your money and not on the larger implications of who you are doing business with. You would think the world-wide contempt for persons linked to terrorism, no matter how distant the connection, would have made Mrs. Jigga think twice before taking the cash of a person with such a history. But a close relative of a long-standing enemy of the United States? That was a bad moral and a bad business move.
As the Tiger Woods scandal has shown, bad moral moves and business moves are very often closely related. I am sure that Beyoncé and her handlers did not mean any harm, and were just not thinking too hard when they made this business deal. They were probably blinded by a check with a whole lot of zeroes. But as this story spreads across the Web, the fire of public outrage may actually cost more than this paycheck was worth.

As one who has been around the local and worldwide rich men--they are spoiled, they break the law, they rent entire hotel floors and bring prostitutes in-even if they are married. And many celebs, including ones that speak on human rights are affiliated with big business and politic families and their agenda is a new world power illuminati. The conversations they have together in private, are FULL of jokes and comments of their plans and agendas. They use the Saul Alinksy model combined with music industry and social media to get the masses to follow as if they are our new messiahs. Its all a plan, and its been working. Look behind the curtain and check out who is networking and partying with who. This is not a US vs global-its a global classroom of ones that think they are superior to us all and who are laughing their asses off on how easily we are led. Beyonce is not naive to all of this. She has sat with many of these men and is privvy to the type of conversations above, as is every pretty girl of money and fame. Every wife of these men know what are going on. The thing is, that not every wife that married for the money and power is even safe from their own husbands, whose behaviors are out of control from their big egos and getting away for one crime after another. Many of these men, have beaten and raped females that they have met that have no power. The men around them know it, but turn their heads and support them, for most of them have done things also. Its the new illuminati and women that are pretty, famous, and rich are used by these men to help their image. The rich female benefits, but never fully, for she is just another pawn. It goes on everyday. Think about it-if you are partying with ones, you are dancing and chilling and being cool to each other. The rich and powerful are BONDING with each other the same way, esp at the parties and tons of both private and public events. I have seen it over and over. There is hardly anyone you can trust in these power circles. Awareness expands when you see exactly how buddy-buddy they all are to each other.
Its just what it is, like it or not. Its been going on for years.

So What. Nobody will say "Jack" when corporations do business with Kadaffi. Stop the double standard. People are not stupid. They can't cover up anymore. Furthermore, do not talk to me, a so-called american of African descent, about terrorism. We black people in America, know all too well about the terrorism perpetrated against us in this phony country. america needs to stop acting like terrorism happens in other countries. Terrorism happens here everyday against minorities.I would love to live in Lybia or any other black, progressive country and get the hell out of this dump.

respect is the key word here and clearly she or her husband have none. b is married and i think she should start acting like a wife. she has great talent and does not need to shake her bare butt every chance she gets for money that she dosen't need and j thats your wife if you really loved her you would make her put a cover on since that is his wife.

Peace Be With you. If Beyonce did perform a concert for LIBYA that is her right. Libya has long been a supporter of oppressed people from the Irish Republican Army to African national Congress of Azania[SOUTH AFRICA] and has gotten a bad rap because these groups were/are condemn by the US as Terrorist. Did the US consider itself terrorist when they fought agaisnt the British in 1776? So how are the Irish Terrororsit for fighting the British today because they want to be free as well? This is hypocrisy on the part of the US. As for Beyonce,Im glad she done this concert for LIBYA. LONG MTHE GREEN BANNER FLY!!!!!

Further more, Beyonce is African-American this means that she is a relative to almost every "TRIBE" on the western coast of Africa, most of the Slaves brought to the AmeriKKKas were taken form this region. 60% of the Slaves were Muslims. Africa is Beyonce's Continent and she has the right because of her multiple tribal lineage to be anware on the continent that she chooses, even in The Socialist Peoples LIBYAN Arab Jamahiriya[

Bottom line is, if the U.S. Government told her no to go, she wouldn't have.
