♦A Response To Nightline's Black SIngle Ladies 'Face-Off'
Confession: For several weeks now, I've been living in fear. It started when I learned "Nightline" was headed back to Atlanta for a "Face-Off" debate with the title, "Why Can't A Successful Black Woman Find A Man?" Sigh. Again? [Essence.com]
The video was very sexy and I don't have a problem with it, but she is trying too hard, and the bottom line is if the song isn't hotttt, its not gonna sell. That song is not hot. It sounds like all the rest of her stuff. She needs to step it up and get some better beats and songs to truly regain her place. The song sucks! The video is hot!
Ok so howz this different from modeling? There are girls who strut their stuff up and down the runway everyday ( minus the dancing of course)...but they get paid mad money for what they do....more than Ciara will probably ever make I'm sure....So if Ciara had chosen modeling (which I heard was her fisrt choice instead of music) then it would be ok right? I mean nobody gives the models a hard time...I'm just saying
Now you all know darn well that if Beyonce did this most of you would just accept it, and some would even praise it. Neither of them can sing, but they are both definately playing the same talentless game. Who cares is she put a ring on it or not. Beyonce sells sex too. They are in the same sinking boat!! Yea yea, Rhianna too.
