Many illegal aliens are screaming that the law that the governor of Arizona passed last week regarding illegal immigrants, will encourage racial profiling. But guess what? Racial profiling occurs 24-7 in the lives of African Americans. I live here in DC and on Friday and Saturday nights,throughout the city, the streets look like the Fourth of July because their are so many flashing blue and red lights (police cars),with mostly white rookie cops harassing young black males. I've voiced my protests, written letters but the profiling continues. Why? Because not enough African Americans are being vigil about what is occuring in our neighborhoods regarding how we are profiled by the police. What Blacks need to do is lift up our voices on the behalf of our causes like racial profiling and the trampling of our civil liberties by the police. So, no, I don't have time to be fighting the causes of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS when my brothers and sisters are being harrassed right here in the Nation's Capital, and WE ARE LEGAL CITIZENS! As for Al Sharpton, he's an opportunists, and trying to build an alliance with the Hispanic community for political reasons...Where was he when the Dept. of Justice ruled "No criminal intent" in the case of the 14 year old black teen that was murdered by staff members at that boot camp in Florida? He should have staged a protest about that issue, instead of taking his butt to ARIZONA to fight for people that don't give a damn about him or BLACKS!

I'm sitting in the catbird seat and what I see is black folks being pitted against brown folks while white folks sit back and enjoy the show. We talk about competing for jobs that are mostly scraps from the table, we talk about avoiding taxes that pay for services (education, health, social) that are mostly substandard. Both people are being exploited, oppressed, and messed with by the establishment. Do black folks really think that their long sought entitlement somehow permits them the privilege of denying it to others who would seek equity? We to were once illegal immigrants. I am reminded of the Third Reich and its campaign to exterminate its Jewish populations by characterizing them as deficient. Come on people, you are being co-opted. Wise up!

I don't see any of the racist tea partiers and politicians in an up roar over white illegals. They see their stolen country, which was built for whites only turning too brown/black. That is why they keep chanting "I want my country back."
The cowards know the pen is mightier than the sword. They write laws to stay in power and control the people of color.

HISPANICS are here to reclaim their land that was lost with the mexican american war as if they do not understand what it means to lose a war. Thy also do not understand the word ILLEGAL!!!! Far too many americans don't understand this word either but let me break the law..I'M LEGAL OF COURSE ..and see what happens to me? Let me illegally enter mexico and see what happens to me smh. As one mexican once said AMERICA may have won the first war but with the new war we will defeat you with our what?..NUMBERS..and we see this coming to fruition now with all the illegals pouring over this unsecured border.. Personally speaking i use to think our federal gov was about something when it came to protecting us but NOT!!!....WE HAVE BEEN DEFEATED and as far as AL SHARPTON marching for them? WHAT THE HECK IS HE THINKING ABOUT? those folks could care less about blacks..Let me have the change and i would send each and everyone to them back period!!!!!!!!!!!

juana, I agree with you 100%. Why in the hell Al Sharpton's ass out in Az? No on fought fo us..we had to fight like hell for the right to vote, along with other things that the illegals have serve to them on a silver platter. Yet he has his "stupid ass" out there trying to collect "boyscout points."

I totally agree, I was in a market one day and a Mexican was in front of me in line, he had a slip for free baby food and milk. I think it was a WIC form. I was surprised to see that because I have been here all my life, when my job went on strike, some friends of mine and I tried to get food stamps or some sort of monetary support while we were out of work and we were denied. We pay into these programs and can't get a dime out of it when we need it. Mexicans are here to take advantage of what they can get free.

Many of your comments are so ignorant! Read a little more about racial profiling and brush up on your history and realize that this is very similar to what Hitler did to the Jews. Pretty soon blacks will be profiled....legally and without any recourse! Besides, how many of you interviewed for a job recently in which a Mexican immigrant was your competition??? ZERO!

Sheila, you sound reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal ignorant. Did you say that pretty soon blacks will be profiled? Oh fuggN duh, we have been profiled in this country all our lives. Where the hell have you been? Are u American? If you're not American then perhaps that can explain your ignorance. And to answer your question, the only reason the my competition is not Mexican is because I speak English and most of them don't. Besides, this is not just about Mexicans, for they are not the only illegals in this country. They just happen to be about 75% of the illegals.

Regardless if latinos, haitians, or any immigrants enter this country, blacks will still be at the bottom of the totem pole, now I'm starting to see the big picture, jealousy and envy will never get you anywhere. Hell how do you think Obama got elected, it damn sure wasn't because the masses of blacks got out and voted, our voting numbers increased of course, but they weren't strong enought to get him elected, it was the latinos that Obama promised to take care of. Really you guys need to check your mentalities on this one, I support the latino community, Sharpton, and all immigrants that enter this country, we have to do better on our end, we can't blame anyone else for our shortcomings. SMH

Kelvin, if you had half a brain, you would know that though the Latinos voted for Obama, their votes wasn't the winning factor because over half of the Latinos in this country are illegal and cannot vote. Now, you said that Obama promised to take care of them? Well what about taking care of his own people first. I think yo stupid ass is Latino are a foreinger because we blacks Americans know that Latinos don't give a damn about us. And, as for jealousy, what the hell does hispanics or any illegals have to be jealous of? If there's any jealousy it's not on our part. Black Americans are the envy of all foreigner because we are Americans and they are not, so you need to go back under your rock and dig your way back to where ever you came from.
