What is your name and what do you do?
LisaRaye McCoy -- I'm a former First Lady, actress and businesswoman.
Just because they see us on TV or we spend $5,000 on a bag people assume we are millionaires... not true! People always want to borrow money. I'm an ACTRESS... not the Bank of LisaRaye. Whenever I go out to dinner with people... you best believe the waiter ALWAYS gives ME the bill while everyone waits for me to pull out my wallet to pay.
What surprised you the most about the financial side industry?
That you can get a big check in the beginning and you never know where the next one is coming from... so, you have to learn to save for a rainy day and keep a "Lord have mercy" fund... lol.
How has Twitter helped you in building your brand and running your business?
If you can't beat 'em... join 'em! It's nice to be able to keep a connection with my fans and when I have an event... I only have to type a line and hit send. My B2B "Back to Business" banner was started on Twitter due to having such a great following. B2B is the social networking organization I started for building and understanding relationships and resources. One of our events is the annual Memorial Day weekend in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Do you have any financial and professional advice for aspiring celebs out there?
Don't forget the business side of show business. It's important to stay on top of where your money is going. Learn about investing. Make sure you invest some portion of your money so it's working for you even when you're not. And here is some professional advice: dare to be different, never blend in, believe in you and TRUST IN GOD.
What upcoming projects do you have in store for us?
The second season of the highest rated show in TVOne's history, 'LisaRaye: The Real McCoy' will be airing in April... we have some great surprises, adventures and growth for the new season.
Also, I begin filming VH1's first scripted series in Atlanta called 'Single Ladies' in February.
I'm also launching my much anticipated jean line PZI Jeans...
I'm also the global ambassador for Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's Circle of Promise. And, you never know what else I have up my sleeve... because THIS girl is BACK TO BUSINESS (B2B)!!!

LisaRaye please get over being the "FIRST LADY" Michelle Obama is the first African American "FIRST LADY" tried of hearing about. So does it mean that Rocsi is the "FIRST MISTRESS"?

FORMER FIRST LADY? She is going to run that one into the Earth. I am sick and tired of reading about her former title as a first lady-- INSIGNIFICANT! Same can be said about her acting ability and credits -- INSIGNIFICANT. She needs to go get a J.O.B. and get over what she once was and failed to do.

LisaRaye is a has been actresses who has no career and has burned many bridges in the industry and now she has no prospects gong forward in regards to movie or TV roles. Even Tyler Perry won't use her and if he does give you an opportunity as a Black actress in one of his movies, that says a lot about her. The fact that she is talking about the social media and not promoting a movie or TV role indicates that she has little or no career left and the bank account has vanished.
And her time as "First Lady" the ex-wife of Michael Misick, a former Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands she purposely married him (as many conniving women do) only for the money, fame, recognition and presteige that the position and title of First Lady would give her along with assisting with her then flourishing acting career. She never gave a damn about her husband or the people of that small country she was only in it for herself yet she still uses the title of ex-First Lady as a promotion for herself. LisaRaye is what you call a hustler and that's all that she has ever been and all she knows how to do to take advantage od people and get ahead while stepping on others to do so. And as with all hustlers, your hustle always and will finally catch up with you as in the case of LisaRaye
Her acting career is totally dead and the only thing left for her is Broadway if she has the ability to perform live which I seriously doubt since her acting range is limited because you can't be ghetto in everything you do..

I agree with your full comment but how can you not like a sexy, confident woman. She's like a golden viper, you know she will bite you so it's up to you as a man to deal with her ina way to avoid it while having the bonus of showcasing her viper "assets". Now on her career? She's still maintained relevancy after a crappy movie "Player's Club" and some bad sitcoms. I can't be mad at her, we all know what she is and she still manages to earn from the ducks who want to wife her.
The beautiful Lisa was our Digger of The Hour a few months back. Keep your head up Lisa-Raye, we love you baby... those eyes!

You are so correct! She left a successful sitcom show, to be a "First Lady",and put the other actors out of jobs. He cheated on her and whipped her butt. Now she thinks that she is up on top again. Continuing to call herself "First Lady", only serves to stroke her ego. Her 15 minutes are up!
