There is a plethora of talented artists in hip hop, but most of them are men. We know that women possess the talent to be successful, and we simply have to give them the opportunity. Well, this is the topic that I am going to discuss today with Madam Prezident, aka Shanelle Walker. She is an amazing spoken word and hip hop artist and represents one of the most talented artists in the world today.
The interview is below, enjoy!

"Political Correctness" can mean a LOT of things besides that worn-out "accepting the Gay Agenda".
FOR example, I am a Black gay man - and I know from talking to plenty of Straight Men (Black, White, Hispanic, Green, whatever....)
(most) Straight Men DON'T CARE about Women's Brains (intelligence, knowledge, etc., etc.,), why do you think you only see Hoochie Ho's and Biyatches.
And they ONLY care about bodies (you'll NEVER see Mo'Nique or Gaby Sidibe in a G-string in a Thug Video - but all these Big F A T Male Rappers have Hoochie Girls hanging all over them).
Women shouldn't EXPECT to be treated with dignity in today's Black Society.

If the women of hip hop wants to get into the game why don't they do what the men did...which is create thier own..find a label..marketing..etc.etc.
Another example of women complaining..then in another breath they're claiming that don't need a man.

Question for you? Do you know all of the rappers, teh gang bangers? Are there rappers on the down low? Probably, but you can't put all of them into that category.
And to say that the killings of gang bangers is related to down low is just an outright lie. Most of the killings are due to drug related issues and the fact that most gang bangers just don't give a damn about themselves, families or the community.

Because men don't want to go around singing raps made by women. Who wants to rap about sexing a guy or slapping another girl? Rap is a man's game. Nicki Minaj is getting a free ride for now because she has some skillz, reps herself as a 'ho and is affiliated with Yung Money and Lil Wayne who is still hot right now. Bt I've never heard any guy rapping her verses. Unless they got real skillz like Nikki, women can pretty much expect to remain in the videos (only if they look good). What I think will happen soon is we're gonna see a female Eminem come along and change the game. Some hot white chick who looks like Meagan Fox and rhymes like Nikki will definitely stir up the pot and bust the game wide open for all females.

I am soooooo glad that women of color has chosen to do more creative work with their talents than a crazy rap phenome,I think that the brothers do a very good job all by themselves, ruining our young minds and having them to believe that this is the way to get rich quick by looking all gangsta with gold $ signs around their necks.Take a look at little wayne and you get nauseated to think you have a son that wants to immitate that. Please DR. BOYCE DON'T OPEN UP THIS UGLY CAN OF WORMS AND THOUGHT ABOUT OUR SISTAS HAVING A SHORTAGE IN THUGGISM.SHAME ON YOU SHAME,SHAME,SHAME!!!!!I HOPE THAT THEY ARE HAVING HIGHER DREAMS THAN THAT!!!!!

Why aren't there more women in hip-hop?
Why aren't there more female pirates?
I think the reasons are the same.
