Keevin and Denise Davis are medical doctors who've been married for over 30 years. They work night and day to convince people of color to focus on what they eat so that we can find our way to healthy communities. Although the interview with this couple occurred before the holidays, the information is still relevant. The video is below, enjoy!

Health is a big concern in the United States. Listening to medical doctors is not the answer to our problems. Our problems start with our food supply. Our food supply has is tainted with chemicals from the time it's planted to the time we buy it at the store. Our food do not have the necessary vitamins and nutrients to maintain and sustain a healthy body due to the depletion of the soil in which it is grown. Therefore we need to supplement our diet with whole vitamins not the synthic vitamins that's sold at the store.
If america really wants to tackle the health problem then we need to start with the food supply.

Dr. Boyce, As a black woman, mother and wife I truly understand the benefits of eating healthy. However, what I have encountered is that to eat healthy is to spend more. When you go to the grocery store it cost more for salad than it does for a can of raviolis. In this economy eating badly is becoming a trend. You go with what you can afford. I would love to eat a salad everyday, eat plums for a snack. But the cost is crazy. What do you suggest.
