'The Voice' Crowns Its Winner
As we reported earlier this week, Mathew Knowles, the father and former manager of megastar Beyoncé Knowles, has filed court papers against Live Nation Entertainment over claims he stole funds from this daughter.After lots of speculation on the details of the case, Knowles finally responded in an interview with the Associated Press yesterday.
"We absolutely have not taken any money from Beyoncé, and all dollars will be accounted for," he said. "In no way have we stole money. Again, this about the people who have made these claims - they have to come into the light."
Knowles said that while he has not specifically addressed these claims with Beyoncé herself, he did tell her that the "the only way [they] will be able to understand this is through a court of law."
In March, Beyoncé's camp released a statement announcing the split with her father. "He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly," the singer said in a statement. "I am grateful for everything he has taught me."
On Thursday, Mathew Knowles corroborated the mutual goodwill. "The relationship with Beyoncé is extremely amicable," he said. "I want to make that clear. Where there's concern is the people that she's doing business with, I'm challenging all of these folks on integrity, professional integrity."
But when later asked he did admit that they hadn't spoken since she let him go.
After years of watching this family work together to build a music, movie and fashion empire, we hope this issue gets resolved soon and the wounds from this scandal get healed for the Knowles family's sake.
Neither representatives for Beyoncé nor Roc Nation have commented on Mathew Knowles case or recent statements.

This forum is a commentary on what we all "think" happened. Heck, not even the folks involved seem to know what happened -- or at least want everyone to think that. Media outlets have portrayed her husband as a very selfish person who won't do anything for anyone unless there's something in it for him. Maybe he has rubbed off on her. How sad, if indeed true. Hopefully this incident will be resolved soon with minimal damage to their relationship. As CherCher said, she will regret it when he is gone. Time wasted can never be reclaimed. People have lost sight of what truly matters and that is family,

So many families who have children in the entertainment business have not done well by the children and have used up their money. I hope this is not the case here. Only the family really knows the truth, so it is not for us to judge who is right and who is wrong since we do not have any of the details.

Jessica Simpson also has a dad-manager,were it me I would give my parents 10% and then hire a manager.A parent child relationship should not be based on business. Buy your parents a house and property at the least and then you don't really have to do much to make sure that they always have that security and wont end up on the street. You take anything pretty much and money can ruin it,or not.Sad.

Your daddy managed you well. He shouldn't have a reason to steal from you. You should be givng him money for a job well done. Do not break ties with your family. You will regret it and it may be too late then to do anything about it.

I hope that the family can get pass this money thing, and be a family.There is no telling what is really going on.Or are they all so shallow that they will try to beat each other out of money, they don't need. Money will make people do grazy things. I hope it works out for the family, and not everybody else involed.

Beyonce' has entered another world entirely. It is the world of pure greed and elitism. Her father quit his job, put everything he had into pushing this child into show business. Once there, she succeeded beyond their imagination I am sure. Now, it is a different animal. Beyonce' sees money and power. She does not see family ties. The very wealthy think and operate differently. We need to pray for people who are without food, clothing or homes to live in. Beyonce and her family need to come together and pray for themselves. Folks on here amaze me; praying for individuals who would not give you the time of day if asked. You are nothing to Beyonce but another album sale. She is overrated and her music is getting weirder and less quality. She is a female Michael Jackson; blonde wigs all over the place, bleached skin in an attempt to advance to being totally white............That husband of hers is her god.... on an interview, she was beaming just mentioning her name. She would choose him anyday over her core family.......Again, that is her world now. SO, I personally have no feelings about their situation, it will work itself out if they desire it to. We need to be minding our own store........and taking no care at all about these beyond wealthy folks who have gotten there from our hard earned dollars and stupidity to keep purchasing their products.

....Agreed Beyonce is being influenced by the industry machine that is designed to ruin lives and pressure artist into persuing a "darker" brand of music in which young people succumb to and destroy themselves by it's subliminal messages....JAY-Z is always getting praise from black people regarding beyonce's status and success but how many of you know that Jay-z is a third degree mason which he is extremely proud of and his music has turned Dark and sinister...his music videos have messages of death complete with skulls and candles.....Kanye West is also another artist whose music has taken a different path since becoming a mega star....and now Beyonce
