New research finds an appalling 20 to one chasm in net worth between white and black Americans, and an 18 to one gap between whites and Hispanics. The Pew Research Center found that the net worth gap has widened during the Great Recession, mainly because the housing bust disproportionately cut into the wealth of African-Americans and Hispanics.

well, here we are again, talking about white wealth. let's remember those whites started stealing money 500yrs ago. so, whenever someone white or black begin to agitate by speaking about who has/have more or less; than whites. then automatically there will be discourse about what blacks(if that's how you identify)did or did not do.
but, everyone keeps forgetting about the past. because in these type debates the past plays a big part in how the present will be shaped. so, back to my earlier statement: whites begin stealing money a minimum of 500yrs ago. and for most blacks their comprehension of what money was/is(don't get mad)(i'm speaking about net worths etc.) begin around the mid 1980's. there my friends is the disparity. about 300yrs worth of dispair. therefore, don't let these agitators compare blacks to whites, when it comes to money. because the white man's stealing and shenanigans have bankrupted this country. HE STOLE ALL THE MONEY!!!

Why is there such a large gap between blacks and whites? We have a black president?
Lets see- 50% of blacks drop out of high school-no that cant be the reason.
The average black 12th grader reads at the eigth grade level and their math is worse than that-no that cant be the reason.(but ebonics and black history are good)
1 out 5 black men between the ages of 18 and 27 are in the justice system-no that cant be the reason.
Our SAT scores are 300 points less than the national average-no that cant be the reason.
67% of black women have children with different fathers-no that cant be the reason.
When Martin gave his "I have a dream speech" over 70% of black families had two married parents-now less than 38% have two married parent families-no that cant be the reason.
We have the highest by percentage of any race on welfare-no that cant be the reason.
We promote and admire gangsters, rap artist as our idols-no that cant be the reason.
We have the lowest graduation rate in four year colleges ,and we have the highest drop out rate-no that cant be the reason.
The list of being at the bottom can go on and on.
The reason must be -racism! Only logical answer.
We need to get real- EDUCATION IS THE KEY-
TAKE NO ENTITLEMENTS(do not let welfare and the government control)-STAY OUT OF PRISON(pot is dope you go to jail)GET MARRIED, STAY MARRIED- (get rid of the blackmen that just hang out, living off welfare benefits and black women)ONLY HAVE CHILDREN YOU CAN AFFORD AND TAKE OF(get rid of the babymakers) -LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS (that means pay your bills ,on time) GIVE UP THE I'VE GOT MINE ATTITUDE (give back to your community ,dont always be a taker) DON'T TOLERATE GANGSTERS,

If we were to do all the things you listed..then we wouldn't have any excuses. But really I truly understand where you coming from but like the commenter "pie" said any serious issues facing the BC you won't get many intelligent replies.

Pimperry it seems that all we ever do is talk, and talk and talk. Going over the same issues and blaming someone else for where we are in life.
Instead of reducing the illegitimate birth rate, keeping young men out of the justice system, improving our grades ,graduation rates and test scores. Staying married
What if there is racism, what do I care? I take care of my business, my family and move on.
I have friends of my sons that are 27 and they have never filed let alone paid any taxes?
How many brothers do you know that are in the same boat-living in an underground economy, off of welfare and just hanging out living in chaos all the time. This country would be better off with a 2 year draft into the service-military, parks service ,etc and give these people some skills, get them off the street, and a chance to see how the real world works. Help them get an education.
No we would rather do nothing but complain, let them go to jail costing the taxpayer 40 thousand a year and become better criminals.

We have an institution called the black church which was very instrumental during the civil rights movement - you think that they would step up and address these problems since they have the ear of the community-we know that there are plenty of churches in the black community. Yet they're only interested in talking about the afterlife instead of the "here and now" and of course collecting tithes and offering. Yet gives little of it back to the community.
The black politicians seems like they enjoyed the status quo because it keeps them in power. However since the election of President Obama too many blacks seems like they expect special treatment. When the reality of the situation is that morals and values in the black community have been declincing for years prior to his election.

Too many! And I 've made the choice not to hang around with them.

That's sounds good in theory but the problem is the military has publicy acknowledged that even with the voluntary draft many recruiters have to reject recruits because they can't pass the physcial and mental tests. So think about the black males who drop out of high school you know they can't pass anything. Too many these kids today are just plain dumb.
